Building a JDM Inspired Viper?!

After unboxing some packages from Japan, Dylan and I made a quick trip across the border into Washington State to visit our friend Josh from Out Of Love. Josh, known for his creative takes on car culture, has been turning heads with his latest project—a Dodge Viper build that fuses American muscle with unmistakable Japanese tuning influences.

The Viper immediately commands attention. The most striking feature? A set of fully chromed Rays wheels that blend perfectly with the car’s aggressive yet refined stance, thanks to a set of BC Racing coilovers. The low, poised profile gives the car a planted, ready-for-action look, while the chrome-finished wheels reflect the surroundings, adding a unique touch that matches the Japanese-inspired look of the build.

The photoshoot was a blast. Josh led us to a few of his favourite local spots. A quiet marina with a scenic backdrop that contrasted beautifully with the car’s bold presence was the perfect place to create a scene that blended art and engineering.

It’s always inspiring to see someone like Josh pushing boundaries, taking something as iconic as the Dodge Viper and reimagining it in a way that bridges cultures and styles. We’re already looking forward to seeing how this build evolves further—and, of course, planning our next visit.
